I hope you enjoy listening to my recent radio interview with Dr. Bill Campbell and Dr. Caitlin Ryan on the subject of gay bullying that aired on the I'm Thankful Network in cities across the United States and on Yahoo and AOL Internet Radio.
Dr. Campbell is a long-time pastor and author of "Turning Controversy into Church Ministry" (Zondervan, 2010). My story of faith appears in Chapter 5 of his new book. He is senior pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Hendersonville, North Carolina.
Dr. Ryan is an award-winning social worker from San Francisco State University and co-founder of the Family Acceptance Project. She has conducted research on LGBT issues for over 35 years.
This program proves that the evangelical and LGBT communities can partner to help reduce bullying and gay teen suicide. Thanks to Dr. Campbell for the invitation to appear on this show. Thanks to Dr. Ryan for agreeing to appear on the show. Thanks to Sue Lundquist and her staff for featuring this important topic.
